Meridian Plastic Surgery Center is a state-licensed, Medicare-certified ambulatory surgery facility located at 170 West 106th Street in Carmel, Indiana, serving patients throughout Indianapolis and central Indiana. The center is owned and operated by Dr. R. Luke Sturgill, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon and Medical Director, who completed his fellowship under Dr. Stephen W. Perkins.

The facility is dedicated exclusively to plastic surgery, and all anesthesia is administered by board-certified MD anesthesiologists — never CRNAs — providing the highest level of patient safety for every procedure.

Generally, patients should avoid eating or drinking after midnight before surgery, arrange for a responsible adult to drive them home and stay with them the first night, wear loose and comfortable clothing (button-down shirts are ideal), and discontinue blood-thinning medications as directed by Dr. Sturgill during your pre-operative consultation.
Can a family member stay with me during recovery?
Absolutely. Your family is welcome to wait in our comfortable lounge during your procedure, and we'll keep them updated throughout. For overnight patients, the private, quiet setting makes it easy for loved ones to be nearby without the chaos of a hospital. We know having your people close matters.
